At Lotusphere 2008 Mike Rhodin rightly said that Lotus had delivered on the major product launches promised at Lotusphere 2007. And Lotus are continuing to deliver with the launch yesterday of Sametime Advanced and the launch today of Quickr 8.1.
For me these new product launches are further fruit of the significant and ongoing development investment by IBM that has led to a whole new generation of Lotus collaboration tools. And hats off to the Lotus development team, they have kept up the pace set last year while constantly seeking feedback from customers and Business Partners.
Sametime Advanced and Quickr 8.1 are great collaboration tools and I am looking forward to a big splash on them at the UK Lotusphere Comes To You event next Tuesday.
