We are pleased to announce that the 2008 BlackBerry version of Genii's Lotusphere Sessions Database is now ready. This is the third year we have offered a Sessions Database you can download right to your BlackBerry.
Its based on version 1.0 of Genii's database and lets you easily review and search all the Lotusphere sessions.
You can get data updates automatically downloaded to you by choosing "Load Data" from the menu. We should have the remaining Showcase / Pedestal details as soon as Genii gets them.
So to get your BlackBerry sessions database go to http://lotusphere.turtleweb.com/bb on your BlackBerry browser.

Sorry to hear you have had a problem on your BlackBerry. It is a bit of a surprise as I also have a Curve and the app has behaved itself for me. Could you possibly either post or email me some more detail?
Thanks
Mike

Thanks for letting us know. From your description I think it might be an issue with your HTTP connection.
A good test to see if the data downloaded for you is to try changing the day and see if any sessions appear in each time slot. You may want to check / reset the browser settings to allow HTTP connections on your device or the application permissions.
We did have some people tell us about the same problem last year and we found that this was at the bottom of it.
Please do contact me if its still not sorted.

A few days later I tried again and it worked. Go figure.
Thanks for making that available! Especially the feature to add to your calendar. Sweet!
I didn't see any parties, mixers, or clam bakes included but I'll check in at the Lido deck when I arrive.
Again, thanks!

No it's not broken. The Squid error is from your Squid proxy - your BES must be configured to only allow you to browse through it and it must be configured to prevent you downloading a JAD file.
You'll want to talk to your IT guys I'm afraid.
